Everything was really well organised, we had a nice coffee stop on the way, followed by a scenic viewpoint in Albania overlooking beautiful Lake Ohrid. “The guide was fantastic and did everything she could to ensure our trip was enjoyable. However, this is a trip I would only recommend if you really REALLY wanted to see Montenegro (briefly). The traffic from Albania to Montenegro in summer is gridlocked for the vast majority of the day. We spent roughly 5/5.5 hours exploring Montenegro where the guide was able to explain lots about the history. The remaining 10 hours were travelling or sat in traffic. Again, no fault of the guide or company but it was a long day sat in the car.”

Engjell was on time, knowledgeable, and very helpful. We stopped for coffee on the way and he took us to a great restaurant for lunch! “The transfer from the airport to our hotel was good. Our driver was waiting for us with a sign with our name on it and was very friendly. My only issue is learning afterwards that a taxi (many are available as you walk outside the airport) would have cost less then half the transfer fee we were charged. So if I come back to Tirana I will book a taxi - There is a standard taxi rate of about 25 euros from the airport regardless of distance to your hotel as long as it is within Tirana. Don’t worry about not being able to find a taxi when you arrive.…”
