“The transfer from the airport to our hotel was good. Our driver was waiting for us with a sign with our name on it and was very friendly. My only issue is learning afterwards that a taxi (many are available as you walk outside the airport) would have cost less then half the transfer fee we were charged. So if I come back to Tirana I will book a taxi - There is a standard taxi rate of about 25 euros from the airport regardless of distance to your hotel as long as it is within Tirana. Don’t worry about not being able to find a taxi when you arrive.…”
